we discussed batch editing of time records, and this time, we’ll go

over some novelties in comment editing options and time estimate

visibility.



ACTIVECOLLAB 8.0: NEW COMMENT OPTIONS



The option to edit comments is not that new, as any member can edit

their comments in ActiveCollab for half an hour after posting, while

Owners and project leaders can edit everyone’s comments at any time.



The new option we’re introducing in the new version regards choosing

the length of this editing interval for members and extending it to 8

hours, the entire day, or a week. These limits don’t apply to Owners

and project leaders, who will still be able to edit comments.



You’ll also be able to unlock comment editing completely, so people

can make changes to what they posted indefinitely. All the edits will

be visible and available ...
