Three years. Well, more than three years, but three years simmering in the mind. Driving by one spot in all seasons thinking, "What a gorgeous scene that would be in winter".



My winter image has stayed in the back of my mind. Passing along this route when avoiding summer beach traffic. Avoiding the main traffic on Route 1 on school days. All those times passing by and thinking about how to find a place to pull over and take a winter shot in this one spot.



Well, it snowed last night. I was passing by. I pulled over. I climbed out of the van. I took the shot.
