MONROE COUNTY, PA (July 28, 2025) — Three people suffered serious injuries after two buses collided on Interstate 380 in Monroe County on Saturday morning.

According to news reports, the crash happened just before 9 a.m. on I-380 South near mile marker 10.1 in Coolbaugh Township. The two buses involved in the accident included a tour-style bus and a short school bus. The school bus had overturned on the side of the road.

The school bus was holding three adult passengers. According to the Pennsylvania State Police, all three suffered “several serious injuries.”

No one in the tour bus was injured.

Police are investigating what caused the accident.
